How I started with affiliate marketing
I started my business as a full-service wedding planner. 
After we got several requests to arrange weddings at our restaurant, me and my husband owned at that time. That was 11 years ago.
We still own the restaurant but today I have my own business and work from home.

The reason why it became just a wedding planning, was I have always liked to plan and organize various events though the years.
And I got requests to help with these honorable assignments.
To plan one of their best days in their life's- their wedding day.

In 2020, we all know what happened and weddings weren't something most people were thinking of. And I had to come up with a way to earn money online, like many others.

I found affiliate marketing and started to look in how and if it was possible to combine these two things in a money-generating way. 


I read everything I could find, watched video tutorials, and it seemed to be so easy. 
But that was a bit from the reality.
So, this is what this blog purposes, to share my best tips and exercises so you can earn an extra income online and can avoid some of my mistakes i did.



I had to rethink and had to come up with a plan to make it work as a non-technical beginner. 
And I found a course, I admit I fell for the big promises and pushy words.

So, in other words, I started my affiliate marketing in a totally wrong way and did all the mistakes in the book and some more.
And I thought "this wasn't for me". 
But I found "my" course OMC , and Im still in it for the webinars and all new updates on new things coming up and the support community is so fin and I got good friends there. I do recomend you to join.

I jumped on the freelance writing train instead and started to write articles and reviews about all kinds of things I didn't have a clue about.
I googled, and I did send my writings to publishers here and there. 
And I got refused every time, I didn't understand why, I follow all the tips in video tutorials and in blogs. 
What they didn't tell me was about that I needed to do several steps before even start sending anything to any publishers.

So, there I was back to the start again but with a lot of mistakes in my back, and that was the way I learned. 
After weeks of planning and a new course and system, it worked, and I earned my first commission.

The reason I wanted to try to start a blog is I want to share how you can do, what to do, what to avoid and not do, to earn an extra income online, in affiliate marketing, and freelance writing.


I will try to write it as easy to understand as possible, and I start from the beginning....
